Reading update 2026-10-07
An update on what I’m reading. A quicker than usual post because the article I read for WTF was fairly short.
On Anger (De Ira) by Seneca
Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 5: The Butcher’s Masquerade by Matt Dinniman - Damn, these books are so good.
Managing the Professional Service Firm by David Maister (Audiobook) - PSA: Spotify Premium includes 15 hours of audiobooks per month. These generally take me longer to get through than regular books as mainly listen to them in the car.
Su Y, Han G, Su Q. Can continuous glucose monitoring-derived glycemic variability predict retinal neurodegeneration earlier than HbA1c in patients without clinically apparent retinopathy? Front Endocrinol (Lausanne). 2026 Aug 25;17:1925994. doi: 10.3389/fendo.2026.1925994. PMID: 42712759; PMCID: PMC13550990. (This is the article I’m reading to write about on What the Fundus)
The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday - I read from this book every day and recommend it to everyone who is struggling with sorting out their thoughts. I don’t know how many years I have been reading it. It is divided up with a Stoic axiom each day. So if you miss a day here and there, no big deal. You can just catch up on it next year.
